Beware of Phishing!
8/18/2017
51
Don’t Get Phished
What is Phishing?• A social engineering attack, where someone
attempts to gain personal information or log-in credentials under the guise of being a trustworthy entity. Phishing is usually attempted through email.
How is it Done?• The email contains an embedded link to a web
page, which is often a FAKE version of a legitimate site. The FAKE site is used to harvest a victim’s personal information or log-in credentials.
