Welcome to the Beckman Coulter Service Content Distribution System!
This document will guide you through installation, configuration and use of the AirWatch Content
Locker software. Click on the Installation link below to get started.

Install the AirWatch Content Locker
This software will allow you to view and download the content from the AirWatch server. You may see
titles for all of the available content but will only be able to access content that you have been granted
access. Obtain the software at the following link. (This download does not require access to the
corporate VPN.)
Link: http://iosapps.beckmancoulter.com/airwatch/ACL_Current.zip
This version will automatically fill in the correct server and Group ID.
If you have to manually enter the Server Information, see next page.
Continue with the installation of the AirWatch Content Locker.
Once the installation is complete, run the AirWatch client application.
The installation should populate the server information. If you need to enter the server information,
use the following.

Server URL: https://ds274.awmdm.com/DeviceServices
Group ID: Beckman
Press Next to move to the login screen.
Computer Name: Should be auto‐populated with your computer name.
1. Enter User Name: your Beckman domain name starting with: global\username (or your assigned
username if you are a non‐Beckman Coulter personnel).
Note: This is the same name you log on to your computer with. Add “global\” before the name.
2. Password: Your current password to gain access to the Beckman Coulter network or provided by
email .

1. For maximum connection speed, log off of the Beckman Coulter VPN.
2. Log in to the AirWatch Content Locker.
3. Upon successful login, you will see this screen:
Quick Description of commands
1. Display new information
2. Display recently viewed information
3. Content you have marked for quick access – mark parts lists and other frequently used
documents as favorites
4. All available content
5. Content organized into categories (business/product line/ product) – this is useful for
browsing the available content for downloading
6. Enter search terms such as instrument model here to quickly locate information
7. Download/Transfer status
8. Refresh new content pushed to you

4. Select AirWatch Content
The AirWatch content can be displayed as a hierarchical structure starting with Diagnostics or Life
Sciences (if you see both options).
5. Double clicking on Life Sciences will display the available information for the next level down.
6. All content managed by this application will be available locally if it is downloaded.
7. Each document should open in its respective application (Acrobat, MS Office, etc.)
8. Some content is distributed as .zip files and must be unzipped locally prior to use.

9. Download documents by clicking on the download icon . To download multiple documents,
select the top document and the while holding the shift key, select the last document to be
downloaded. Right click on the selections and choose the download option.
10. A green check mark indicates that you have a local copy of the file.
11. Select the star next to the download icon to have the document appear in Favorite Content. Selecting multiple documents as favorites is the same process as for downloading multiple documents. (See step 9).

FAQ
1. How do I find a document of interest? a. Search by product model or platform name b. Scroll through the results OR directly search for a portion of the document
name using All Content

2. I can’t find the downloaded document. a. The Content Locker client will automatically manage your downloads. You do
not need to have access to the download file location. This also keeps you updated with any changes to the downloaded file.
3. How do I use a downloaded html service manual? a. Refer to the instruction document for the service manual. In general, the html
manual will need to be unzipped to a very specific location for the links to properly work.
4. How do I obtain the contents of a .zip file? a. Zip files will open in your PC’s WinZip or equivalent unzip application. The
contents may be dragged from the Winzip work area to another location in your computer.
5. How do I know when there is a new file I should be aware of? a. Check the new content icon. Once the system is up and running, newly
uploaded information will appear in this area.
6. I don’t see a specific file or information in AirWatch. Who do I contact? a. If the issue is with missing or incorrect content, please contact the Global
Technical Support Engineer responsible for the product line. If the problem is related to the operation of AirWatch, contact the Global IT Helpdesk (see item 9).
7. AirWatch Content Locker does not show any content

a. After initial installation, it takes several minutes for the Content Locker client to download the catalog information from AirWatch. Pleased wait 60 minutes. If you do not see any content, please contact the IT Helpdesk or for dealers see Item 12.
8. Content download is very slow. a. The Content Locker client can run without access to the Beckman Coulter VPN.
If you are on the VPN, disconnect from the VPN and re‐try the download. Try a wired or WI‐FI connection instead of a cellular card.
9. How can I download more than 1 file at a time? a. Click on the starting document to download. Scroll down to the last document
in the list to download and Shift+click. Right click to bring up the choice menu and select x documents to download.
10. AirWatch Content Locker sometimes freezes on my PC a. This is another know issue. The Content Locker syncs with the server every 30
minutes when you are connected to the internet. Wait 30 seconds and the application will usually become responsive. You can shut down the application using the task manager and restart if it is frozen for over 2 minutes.
11. AirWatch has been working but all of a sudden I receive a blank or white screen inside the Content Locker software.
a. This I usually caused by corrupted credentials being stored in the local AirWatch database. Use these links to clear the credentials. No data will be erased.
