AZer dental school, I a[ended the two-yearProgramofAdvancedEduca=oninGeneralDen=stry(AEGD)at the University of Connec=cut. I have also a[ended theProgram of Forensic Odontology and have received aMaster’sDegreefromtheUniversityofLeuven,Belgium.

I am currently a PhD student in the Department of OralDiagnosis and Radiology at the Kapodistrian University inAthens,andIalsomaintainaprivateprac=ce. Iwork inthearea of oral complica=ons of cancer therapies and ampar=cularlyinterestedinthepreven=on,earlydiagnosis,andmanagement of osteonecrosis of the jaw in pa=ents whohavereceivedan=-resorp=veand/orangiogenesis inhibitorsaspartoftheircancertherapy.

I’mamemberof theHellenicSocietyofOralOncology, theMediterranean Mul=disciplinary Oncology Forum, and afoundingmemberoftheHellenicSocietyofHeadandNeckCancer. The major focus of these organiza=ons is thepromo=on of the discipline ofOralOncology inGreece, aswell as within the other countries of the MediterraneanBasin.

I feel blessed tobe apart of ISOO inorder to gain furtherinsights into theoral suppor=ve careof cancerpa=ents, todevelopmo=va=ngcollabora=ons,andtofind interna=onalfriends who sharemy professional interests. I believe thatthemouthisthemirrorofoverallhealthandthatoralhealthisextremelyimportanttotheoncologypa=ent.
