Welcome to the 75th Arroyo Grande Valley Harvest Festival Bake-Off 2012! Dust off those aprons, find your favorite recipes & start baking! We have TEN contests to choose from & participants can enter as many times as they would like. We invite you to try your luck in all categories & there is no entry free. The contests offered for the 2012 Arroyo Grande Valley Harvest Festival Bake-Off: Ice Cream Makers Delight, Country Canning Competition (Jams, Jellies/Any Other), Autumn Pie Review, Apple Pie Exhibition, Harvest Gone Wild, Pumpkin Bread, Zucchini Bread, Central Coast Cake Classic & Best in the West Honey Contest! Drop your entry off at 126 S Mason Street in Arroyo Grande at the Historical Society. Drop-off times are Saturday, September 29 th from 8:00am to 12:00pm. A completed entry form & a copy of your recipe must accompany each entry. Forms can be down loaded on this website. Please see below for a form. Forms will also be available on the day of the contest at the event site or call me & I will mail you one. All entries have to be in or on a disposable container only. No Plates returned. All entries once entered are property of the Arroyo Grande Valley Harvest Festival. All judges’ scores are kept confidential & are not available to the public. Due to limited refrigeration no cream or meringue pies please. There will be a freezer on site for Ice Cream Delight entries only! We will be collecting your entry recipes again for the 2013 Harvest Festival Cookbook that will be for sale at the next Harvest Festival. Proceeds will benefit future Harvest Festivals. Our 3rd cookbook last year made $200.00! If you are interested in purchasing this year’s cookbook, please call or e-mail me to reserve your copy in advance. Cookbooks are $5 a piece & if your company is interested in advertising in the cookbook a business card ad runs $25.00 & is tax deductable. We are also always looking for sponsors! Winners will be announced at 3:30pm at the SCHS Gazebo on Mason Street. You need not be present to receive your award but we hope you will be there to be part of this great community event! All entries will receive a ribbon & there will also be a Luck of the Draw Raffle with ten prizes up for grabs after the ceremony for those who didn’t place. You must be present at the award ceremony to win a raffle prize! Awards, Raffle Prizes & Ribbons will be given out at the awards ceremony. If you have won an award from a contest you placed in & you can’t make the award ceremony arrangements will be made to get your prize to you! Raffle Prizes are as follows: Gift Certificates for Huckeberry’s Restaurant, Jumba Juice, Doc Burnstein’s Ice Cream Lab, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Sees Candy & Regal Movie Tickets are up for grabs as well as Trader Joe’s Mum’s & a local jar of “Olive U Olive Oil Company” Honey!

Society. Drop-off times are Saturday, September 29th from 8:00am to 12:00pm. A completed entry form & a copy of your recipe must accompany each entry. Forms can be down loaded on this website. Please see below for a form. Forms will also be available on the day of the contest at the event site or call me & I will mail you one.

All entries have to be in or on a disposable container only. No Plates returned. All entries once entered are property of the Arroyo Grande Valley Harvest
