Distinguished University Professor Dr. Alireza Yalda ,father of sciences of infectious diseases in Iran

In honor of extraordinary scientific, charismatic and humanitary character of Professor Alireza Yalda internationally renowned scientist, researchers and university professors founded in year 2008 the “International Prof.Dr. Alireza Yalda Academic Foundation in Medical Sciences”. The constitution has been established in April 2010 in Bonn in Germany.

A short biography of distinguished University Professor Dr. Alireza Yalda ,

father of sciences of infectious diseases in Iran

Born on December 3, 1930 in Tehran

1957 Medical degree from Medical School of Tehran University

1960 Specialist in the field of Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases from School of Medicine at Tehran University

1960 Beginning of teaching at the Medical School of Tehran University

Present Distinguished University Professor at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, director of university clinic and polyclinic of infectious diseases, Tehran University of Medical Sciences

Author of seven books and co-editor of over ten books



Recipient of over 20 awards as an internationally highly respected physician,Scientist, researcher and professor spanning from teaching excellence to national recognitions for his outstanding service and contributions

Zanjan School of Medicine in Iran now publishes a journal titled ”Yalda” which is named after Prof.Dr. Alireza Yalda

Prof. Yalda is called as father of infectious diseases in Iran

The Department of Infectious Diseases at Tehran University of Medical Sciences is named after Professor Yalda

Prof. Dr. Yalda is a life-time member of the Medical Board of the Tehran University of Medical Sciences, a member of editorial board of over 20 Medical Journals



Prof. Yalda is member of scientific board of Acta Medica Iranica , editor of Journal of Iranian Medical Council, member of scientific board of the Medical Journal of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, and the promotion review committee for the teaching faculty at the School of Medicine at Tehran University of Medical Sciences.

Furthermore, Professor Yalda is a permanent member of the Iranian Academy of Medical Sciences.

In honor of his extraordinary scientific, charismatic and humanitary character the international Prof. Yalda Academy has been founded in year 2008 by internationally renowned scientist , researchers and university professors to promote medical sciences and young researchers and accelerate worlwide the scientific cooperation between scientists and researchers.

Prof. Yalda has been married to Dr. Tahereh Jafarzadeh since 1963 and they have two daughters and three grandchildren.

Article I: Name The name of this academy is the “International Prof.Dr.Alireza Yalda Academic Foundation in Medical Sciences”. The academy is named after the distinguished University Professor Dr. Alireza Yalda in honor of his extraordinary scientific, charismatic and humanitarian character.

Article II: AimsThe aims of the academy are more especially:• To promote the medical sciences, their art and ethics for betterment of public health. • To raise the standards of the medical professions and of medical education.• To accelerate worldwide the scientific cooperation between scientists and researchers and the favorable relation among the physicians.• To promote the young researchers and scientists in medicine and public health

Enormous progress of science in the field of biotechnology and cellular and molecular medicine in recent years has opened new entries into the better understanding of mechanisms of diseases and new approaches in diagnosis and therapy especially in diseases which are difficult to treat.

On the other hand this progress challenges different aspects of medical ethics and raises many questions involving what sort of ethical conduct should be expected by researchers, scientists and physicians.

Our congress in this year focuses on the latest outcomes of research in molecular and clinical medicine and the role of medical ethics and social responsibilities.

The Academy of Iranian Physicians and Dentists in Germany, shortly AIA, (Persian: آلمان در ایرانی‌ پزشکان دندان و پزشکان . was established on June 23, 2012 in Bonn, Germany (آکادمی AIA replaces the Association of Iranian Physicians and Dentists in Germany contemporary and compatible with its scientific contents and academic activities.The Association of Iranian Physicians and Dentists in Germany, shortly VIA (Persian: آلمان مقیم ایرانی دندانپزشکان و پزشکان Kanun) was founded on October 14th ,کانون :shortly ,کانون

and 15th, 1961 in Cologne / Germany. From 1961 to 1980 the association's activities were centered on professional interests and social matters. The association emerged as a respected scientific organization in Germany from modernization and restructuring in the years 2001 and 2002 and was accredited by the German Academy of Postgraduate and Continuing Medical Education, and the German Medical Council, state NRW. From 2001 VIA/AIA has organized forty-five postgraduate courses and continuing medical educational congresses which have been certified form the German Academy of Postgraduate and Continuing Medical Education and the German Medical Council, state NRW, and earned a total of 298 CME points. The VIA/AIA has assigned the dentists from 2012 a total of 205 CME points on the base of scoring of BZÄK /DGZMK of the German Dental Association, and the pharmacist from November 2009 a total of 80 CME points.
