Schedules: Synchronous vs Asynchronous
Synchronous instruction is live conversation and interaction with teachers.
Asynchronous instruction are things such as recorded videos, activities and lessons
which students can watch, interact with, and learn NEW material and review
previous content.

Schedule ● Teachers give students a schedule to
follow and Google Classroom Codes. ● Related Arts: Only one class for the week:
Week 1 will follow Day 1 related arts class.

Meal Service ● Summer Meal Service will conclude on
Thursday, August 27th. ● The National Student Lunch and Breakfast
program will start on Tuesday September 2, 2020 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Meal Service ● Meals will be available at the East High School, West High School and
Clear Run Intermediate School on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting Sept. 2.
● PMSD has a Grab and Go Meals form on PMSD website. Meals should be ordered by noon Monday, Aug. 31 prior to Tuesday meal distribution.
● Parents are strongly encourage to complete Free or Reduced Meals program application via PMSD website to qualify to continue to receive
free or reduced meals

Meal Service Families that do not qualify for free or reduced meals, may still receive meals, but their students’ cafeteria accounts will be charged for the cost of the meals. Parents need to provide their children’s student ID
numbers when picking up meals starting Sept. 2.

PRIDE: School-wide Positive Behavior Plan
Carry out the PRIDE expectations of Prepared, Respectful, Involved, Dependable and Empathetic while learning from home.
While individual, class, team and grade level incentives are on hold, we look to return to the building where we will resume PRIDE card menus and activities.
