China – A priority expansion for Sigfox*

• President Macron of France and President Xi Jingping of China formally witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between SeniorAdom, Chengdu High Tech Industrial Development Zone (CDHT) , and Sigfox; during the formal State Visit by the French President to China on 9 January, 2018.

• The pilot, based in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China - a city of 9m people – is for deployment of a SeniorAdom / Sigfox wireless telecare solution in 1,500 homes of elderly citizens living alone.

• Ludovic Le Moan, Thierry Roussel (CEO Senioradom) and the Mayor of Chengdu were the signatories.

• Temporary license was granted by MiiT in Nov 2018

• Pilot project will be conducted throughout 2019

• In parallel, Sigfox searching a Sigfox Operator for the whole of China
