    Stroking is defined as any act of givingrecognition and importance to another.

    Example: You performed well,

    your dress is really good According to psychology, all people have

    hunger for strokes. In almost everytransaction, in fact, we seek strokes.

    Strokes are very much important andunavoidable to our life satisfaction. If wedont get positive strokes, we will even try toget, at least, some negative strokes.

    Realize that every person has a hunger forstrokes. Also, understand that many situationsof conflicts are, in fact, attempts by the otherparty to seek strokes.
