Tuesday Afternoon Bible Study Join us Tuesday afternoons at 1:30 p.m, off campus, for our 12 week Bible Study. John MacArthur takes readers

Missions Update! Please keep our short term missionary, Kimberlee Willey, in your prayers as she serves in Romania and

Poland, using her God given gifts to teach young people about Jesus. This morning, we will be commission-ing 16 participants of St. John’s Scotland Mission Team, preparing to go and assist the Perry Family Ministry working in Stirling, Scotland. Also being commissioned today is the SSM Mexico Mission Team. Please keep these teams in your prayers.

The St. John’s SCRIP program continues all year, even during the summer. You can purchase scrip at the school office during the week or at the Information

Center between services only on Sunday. SCRIP is face value gift cards. You purchase SCRIP as gift cards from local and national retailers and restaurants. Why use SCRIP? It is easy and a percentage of every purchase of SCRIP comes back to support our School and Children’s Center.

HIS Ministry would like to thank everyone who donated rice and

beans to distribute to the Arvin residents. A ton of food was distributed to over 330 people! Praise God for answered prayers. Don Marquez and the SJVOF team appreciate all the donations and help with this effort. It was a great success. Thank you!

Thank you for all the baby bottles filled with coins, checks and paper currency. When we get notification of how much was collected from the Bakersfield Pregnancy Center, we will

pass that information on to you. “Busy Bags” are available near each Information Center. Grab one of these colorful backpacks on your way into church to keep your little one(s) entertained!
