Being part of the early momentum of the revolutionary Charlotte Tilbury artistry range, he was promoted to support skill development and business growth, helping create and deliver training programmes in this ground-breaking beauty company.

Having developed his own loyal client list, Juan understands personal service and has poured his multi-layered experience into his own educational venture by founding the Seventa Makeup Academy.

WHAT IS A MAKEUP ARTIST?

In its most basic form the definition of a Makeup Artist is a person whose job is to apply cosmetics.

A wider look at the role of a makeup artist could also include applying makeup and prosthetics on others for theatrical, television, film, fashion, magazines and other similar productions.

Also, there is a retail makeup artist whose job is also to apply cosmetics to customers with the goal of selling the products used by that customer.

PURCHASING COURSES AND PAYMENTS

We offer a few different ways to purchase a course. Any course that is 3 days or more in length could qualify for interest free credit or instalment plans.

Options include:

100% payment at time of booking: Purchase and pay 100% of the course fee in 1 payment.

PayPal Credit: 4 months interest free credit that can be used to pay for part of, or 100% of your course fee.

Approval is required via PayPal and can be processed online and approved via the Seventa Makeup Academy checkout. You can also apply for PayPal Credit to pre-approved credit before paying for your course.

Instalment Plans: Interest free payment plans with up to 6 months to pay. Instalment plans are provided directly from Seventa Makeup Academy. 40% deposit is required, and the remaining 60% balance is split equally over 1, 3 or 6 months and is payable via Direct Debit. You may start your course after paying the 40% deposit and the first scheduled instalment payment has been received.

Approval is required and needs to be applied for in-person by appointment with a member of our team. There are no credit checks requested for instalment plans, but you will need to demonstrate that you can afford to make the payments and provide proof of income to support your application.



The 20/80 Plan: Pay a 20% deposit and then pay the 80% balance 4 weeks before your scheduled course date. This enables you to reserve a course date by paying 20% deposit and the balance 4 weeks before your chosen course start date.

What days of the week will I be in? Our courses run at regular intervals throughout the year, please check our course schedules on the course page for more information about dates and times. Can I use an advanced learner loan? We are not an approved college or training provider for this type of funding, we are a private training academy, so you would not be able to use an advanced learner loan for our courses. Are there any additional fees? All fees payable and any additional expenses that may be required throughout the course are mentioned on course description pages on our website and no additional fees or expense are required to be paid. When is the start date? Our courses run at regular intervals throughout the year, please check our course schedules on the course page for more information about dates and times.



Do you have careers advice at the academy, enabling me to find jobs and aftercare after the course? After completing your course at Seventa Makeup Academy you will be invited to gain work experience working alongside Professional Makeup Artists on events and jobs provided through the Seventa Image Creatives Agency. Graduates are also invited to join the Seventa Image Creative Team on a series of high-profile events and productions that happen at different times throughout the year. Your relationship with Seventa Makeup Academy and our Tutor Team doesn’t end the day you finish your course. Our team continue to be there to support and mentor you in your makeup journey well beyond the end date of your course. What qualification do I receive at the end? And what will this allow me to do? All of our courses are awarded with a Seventa Makeup Academy Diploma in the course subject upon successful completion of the course and any assessment if required by the course studied. There are varied answers to this question as this depends on the type of training that you undertake. All courses that Seventa Makeup Academy offer will mention in their
