• Public transport in Prague is extensive, integrated, cheap, fast, safe and reliable.

• Subway/metro, buses or trams operate anytime during the day, some at night.

• Tickets are sold at any newspaper stand or in subway stations. Tickets must be validated on entry otherwise they

are invalid.

• With the Litacka card you can travel one month for 550 CZK (20 €) or buy the yearly ticket for 3.650 CZK (145 €).

Our tip: Even though euros are now accepted in Prague at almostall shops, supermarkets and restaurants, the exchange ratesfluctuate and are not accurate to actual rates. We recommend tochange your money first. At most places you can pay by credit ordebit card (MasterCard, Visa, Maestro).
