PLANNING:

We want to understand what your needs are. Through proper planning you will know all of your options, the cost and time commitment. Do you want one tooth repaired, or a full mouth Veneer? Is a natural smile what you want, or would you like a “Hollywood” smile? Your choices are endless and we will be beside you to help you understand your options so you make the right decisions for you.

On your first visit to our office we will take detailed pictures of you and your smile, moldings of your teeth, you will also receive a total analysis with recommendations to avoid surprises and to predict the future results you want. The next step is to use your moldings to have a smile rehearsal. We mock up your results so you can see your desired results before you have the work done!

ALIGNMENT:

Teens versus adult alignment. Teen needs are usually driven by the parents’ choices depending on cost, time and desired results. Adults however, over time, have changes in tooth

wear and tear. Their teeth may also move, and it is important that they are correctly aligned to have the proper bite for chewing. It is sometimes necessary to trim the lower or upper teeth to obtain proper symmetry and fit before the cosmetic work begins. By making your teeth more functional and visually appealing, your new smile will last longer you will have less problems later.

COSMETIC:

All cosmetic dentist are not all the same. Cosmetic dentistry is not a recognized specialized field and the term has different meanings to different people. Not only has Dr. Mika had specialized training in the cosmetic dentistry industry. She has a patented “Before After and Beyond” program which makes sure your smile lasts a lifetime.

Not all patients have the same cosmetic needs. Dr. Mika likes to use less preparation veneers and bonding techniques when possible. She also utilizes onlays, crowns and caps to enhance your smile! Lastly, we have 84 check point system with full side set of pictures to make sure that your smile, lip support and profile are exactly right for you.
