The website can be viewed in any web browser. For best viewing and printing results use Firefox (v18+) Google Chrome (v28+), or Microsoft Internet Explorer (v.8.0+). For Mac Users use Firefox or Google Chrome for best viewing and printing results. Please enter your User ID and Password to begin reviewing our electronic Magnet document. Your User ID and Password is located in the green side bar of this document. User IDs and Passwords are case sensitive. For security purposes, logging into the web site with an incorrect Password or User ID more than three times will lock you out of the system. If a lock out occurs, please use the “Contact Us Form” located on the home page to contact us and we will send you a notification that your password has been reset. Include your direct return email address so that we can notify you directly that your password has been reset.

Model Component Buttons
The Model Component navigational buttons can be found at the top of every page and in the left margin of the page.
How To Navigate Site
The “How to Navigate” this site link is located in the top right hand corner of the web page. Use this link to review instructions on how to navigate the site. Once clicked on the document will appear in a separate window for review.
Home or Login Page
To return to the hospital’s home or login in page click on Parkview Health’s logo from any web page in the Magnet document or click the “Home” button located in the top right corner of every web page.
CNO Welcome Page
The CNO Welcome Link is located in the right hand corner of the web page. This CNO Welcome page introduces viewers to our Magnet document.
Search Our Site
Allows user to search by topic, unit, name or title. Search provides a crosswalk of where the information is listed throughout the Magnet document. Click on applicable link to Go to (link).
Glossary of Terms
A link to the Glossary of Terms is located in the top right hand corner of every web page. Glossary listing will display in a separate window.

Print This Page
Allows user to print any of the pages on the web site and includes, page numbers, a header with the section title and the Source of Evidence Code. For best printing results we recommend that you use Google Chrome or Internet Explorer. Printing results may vary based on your web browser and printer.
Font Sizing
Allows user to decrease or increase the font size of the document page. [A] will change the font size back to its original 12 points.
Table of Contents
A Table of Contents link is at the bottom of each Model Component’s Introduction Page. Click on link to open the Table of Contents in a separate window.
Introduction Pages
There are Introduction Pages for each Model Component. Simply click on the Model Component tab at the top of the navigational bar.
Login / Logout Status
Indicates the user’s name that is logged into our hospital’s Magnet document. LOGOUT button feature to quickly exit site.

Exemplar Mapping
The Exemplar Mapping by Entity document demonstrates how each Parkview Health entities has provided examples throughout the Magnet document. Exemplar Maps can also found on all Introduction pages.
Model Component Section
The Model Component Section can be found in the top left portion of the web page directly above the navigational buttons.

Go to Next SOE or Top of Page
Allows user to go to the next source of evidence or model component (Ex. Go to SE2EO). User can also “Go To Top of Page” located in the bottom right hand corner of the web page.
SOE Descriptions
SOE Descriptions from the Magnet Application Manual can be found at the top of each tabbed SOE (Ex. 004, TL2EO, etc.)
Supporting Evidence
Supporting Evidence are Exhibits that are referenced to a specific source of evidence and/or another source of evidence within the Magnet document. Click on the respective link to open the document. Supporting Evidence when opened will appear in a separate window and when closed will take the reader back to where they were in the document. Supporting Evidence is listed throughout the document and appears as: Supporting Evidence: NK2A NursesWeekActivities2015 Original link color appears in green and once opened changes to the color tan. The link will remain in the color tan to denote that the link has been reviewed by the reader. Link colors are retained even when the reader exits the site and is based on the computer you logged into to access our Magnet document. Supporting Evidence: NK2A NursesWeekActivities2015
