Here is love, vast as the ocean, loving kindness as the flood, when the Prince of life, our ransom, shed for us his precious blood. Who his love will not remember? Who can cease to sing his praise? He can never be forgotten throughout heavens eternal days.

On the mount of crucifixion fountains opened deep and wide; through the floodgates of Gods mercy flowed a vast and gracious tide. Grace and love, like mighty rivers, poured incessant from above; and heavens peace and perfect justice kissed a guilty world in love.

Through the years of human darkness, shone the lamp the prophets trimmed, making known redemptions story, of the love of God undimmed. Christ for every tongue and nation! All must come beneath his sway; His the everlasting kingdom that shall never pass away.

1 Every high priest is selected from among men and is appointed to represent them in matters related to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins. 2 He is able to deal gently with those who are ignorant and are going astray, since he himself is subject to weakness. 3 This is why he has to offer sacrifices for his own sins, as well as for the sins of the people. Hebrews 5:1-3

19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, 20 where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest for ever, in the order of Melchizedek. Hebrews 6:19-20

Were not saved by faith as though faith is the thing we bring to the table! God Faith US Its not that God dislikes deeds and really likes creeds! Our faith doesnt save us ?????

Were saved by Christ alone because we bring nothing to the table! When we rest in His work that is faith Faith is not a thing. Faith is merely receiving the only saving thing - Christ US My Child!

What is faith? According to Spurgeon it is simply Looking unto Jesus (Heb 12:2)

Charles Spurgeon: It is ever the Holy Spirits work to turn our eyes away from self to Jesus; but Satans work is just the opposite of this, for he is constantly trying to make us regard ourselves instead of Christ. He insinuates, Your sins are too great for pardon; you have no faith; you do not repent enough; you will never be able to continue to the end; you have not the joy of His children; you have such a wavering hold of Jesus.

All these are thoughts about self, and we shall never find comfort or assurance by looking within. But the Holy Spirit turns our eyes entirely away from self: He tells us that we are nothing, but that Christ is all in all. Remember, therefore, it is not thy holdof Christ that saves theeit is Christ; it is not thy joy in Christ that saves theeit is Christ; it is not even faith in Christ, though that be the instrumentit is Christs blood and merits;

therefore, look not so much to thy hand with which thou art grasping Christ, as to Christ; look not to thy hope, but to Jesus, the source of thy hope; look not to thy faith, but to Jesus, the author and finisher of thy faith. We shall never find happiness by looking at our prayers, our doings, or our feelings; it is what Jesus is, not what we are, that gives rest to the soul. If we would at once overcome Satan and have peace with God, it must be by looking unto Jesus.

Keep thine eye simply on Him; let His death, His sufferings, His merits, His glories, His intercession, be fresh upon thy mind; when thou wakest in the morning look to Him; when thou liest down at night look to Him. Oh! let not thy hopes or fears come between thee and Jesus; follow hard after Him, and He will never fail thee.

My hope is built on nothing less Than Jesus blood and righteousness: I dare not trust the sweetest frame, But wholly lean on Jesus name.

Its not that everyone is an individual priest My priestliness does not exist in myself It exists in Christ and in community But in Christ and together with others, we bring the world to God. The Priesthood of All Believers
