CHRISTMAS MINISTRY IN ACTION
In the midst of all the trappings of Christmas-it’s commercialization and secularization-it’s extremely important to keep focused on the true meaning of this special and sacred event. Be sure to thank God for the Unmatched gift of his Son Jesus. Christmas is a very difficult time of year for many people. Economic hardship illness, the recent loss of a loved one, broken relationships and many other circumstances can make this season anything but joyful for some. Take a moment to think of someone who might fit this description. Then look for ways you can help make that persons Christmas a time of joy and hope. The very heart of the message that Bethlehem angels declared as the “Good Tidings of Great Joy” is healing for the sick, mercy for the oppressed, triumph for the discouraged, gladness for the sorrowful, food for the hungry, courage for the burden , a new heart for the sinner and a new life for the dead. And this was and in the heart of the Christian’s Christmas message: Joy, Hope, Health, Peace, Mercy, Food, Courage and Life Everlasting. At this season our thoughts should be Joyful, so let our prayer at this special season be for the Peace and joy we all seek, as we worship the Prince of Peace Christ Jesus…
Merry Christmas Shalom
Dave Johnson

Gracious Giving
Because of you thirty-five families received two bags of groceries filled with items to complete their Thanksgiving dinners and add to their pantry staples. Your donations made it possible to give each family: A bag of sugar, a box of tea bags, a cake mix, a dozen eggs, a pound of butter, a gallon of milk, a box of saltine crackers, and a turkey.
Well done faithful servants.
Thank You
Thank you so much to my church family for all of the love and support during Mike’s illness and last days. Thanks also for the beautiful tribute
at his memorial service. Jennifer Molvik
Arts and Crafts Festival Update
The 25th Annual Arts and Crafts Festival and Car Show was a big success! We had 164 booths with a variety of art, crafts, and other products. The Bake Sale, Snack Shop, and Boston Butts sold out. You, the church, worked together as a team to make this possible. Because of your hard work and generosity, we will be able to support the missions and ministries of the church in the future. Many, many thanks! If you have any comments or suggestions for how we can improve the festival in the future, please contact Sue Wilson 479-9329/[email protected] or Trudy Youngs. Mark your calendars NOW FOR NEXT YEAR-SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 2015.
