I will be using the “THREE STRIKES YOU’RE OUT” system.

At the beginning of the year, each student will be given a baseball with their name on it and it will contain three bats, this will be placed on a bulletin board.

Conduct grades will be given daily and can be found on a calendar stapled to the left hand side of the homework folder. (It must be initialed by a parent or guardian.)

The first bat is green and if it is pulled, the student’s conduct grade will drop from an E to a S.

The second bat is yellow and if it is pulled, the student’s conduct grade will drop from a S to a N.

The third bat is red and if it is pulled, the student’s conduct grade will drop from a N to an U and their recess time will be taken away. Also a note will be sent home to be signed and returned the next day.

Four or more U’s within the month will result in a parent/teacher/principal conference to discuss the student’s behavior and what can be done to improve it.
