Who we are:

We are an LEP (local ecumenical partnership) of Baptist, Methodist and United Reformed churches. Our vision is It is ‘Putting the King at the Heart of Buckingham’.

We want to be a church in the community . We desire to make Jesus known throughout Buckingham and beyond. As an LEP we observe the traditions of our three denominations— please speak with our minister Tim Edworthy regarding

christenings, infant dedications, confirmation and believers baptism.

24/7 Prayer Week

What better way to begin the New Year than with prayer!

John Wesley said, ‘God does nothing but by prayer, and everything with it.’ Andrew Murray said, ‘Where there is much prayer, there will be much of the Spirit; where there is much of the Spirit, there will be ever-increasing prayer.'

From 5-12 January 2020, we want to give you the opportunity to do just that. We will be turning the worship area at our building in Well Street into a Prayer Space with lots of different things to guide your prayers. We’re planning that it will be available 24 hours a day for the 7 days from Sunday to Saturday – hence 24/7 Prayer Week.

Anyone is welcome to come along. You may find yourself praying alone in the building and you may find yourself with others. You may be able to come every day, several times or just once. Come and pray as you can, not as you can’t. Come and pray as an individual and with your friends and Life Groups. Come and pray in the different zones, spending as much time as you want.

There will be open access to the Prayer Space whenever the Church Office is open i.e. 6-10 January from 8am-12. At other times, you will need the code for the key safe just outside the front door of the church. That can be obtained from Wendy. Please do not share it with anyone who is not a regular worshipper at our church so that we can maintain security. However, feel free to invite friends to join you in prayer. When you have opened the door, please put the key back in the key safe.

On Sunday 5th January from 5-7pm, we will launch our 24/7 Prayer Week. Please join us from 5-6pm for worship and prayer, and stay

beyond that to experience the various prayer stations. Tim
