2. Context: From the Crowds to the Inner Circle,
Communion, Conversations, Concerns (John 13-17)
3. Crossroads: “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6).
Three-in-One -- the Way Home
3.1. “I am the Way” -- Identity, Itinerary, Road and Route
Link with “I am the Door” and “the Good Shepherd”.
3.2. “The Truth” -- Integrity, Revelation of Reality
Link with “I am the Light of the world” and “the True Vine”.
3.3. “The Life” -- Indwelling Relationship
Link with “I am the Living Bread” and “the Resurrection and the Life”
Life anew, abundant, eternal through Cross and Resurrection, conversion and renewal.
“Jesus is the way to the Father's house and the truth about the Father's heart; but He is also the one who brings us the Father's
help as we abide in Him and share His life” (Warren Wiersbe, Jesus in the Present Tense, p.120).
4. Challenge: Where are you today? Who is Jesus to you? Why One Way?
“The way is not an abstraction, a slogan, a principle. It is a metaphor: a road, a path, a street, a highway, a trail, and
simultaneously a person, a body that we can see and a spirit that we cannot see …” (Eugene Peterson, The Jesus Way, pp.36-37).
It is a metaphor that leads to metamorphosis!
4.1. “You are the Walkers”
4.2. “You are the Truth-Tellers”
4.3. “You are the Life-Transformers”
The testimonies of St Thomas, St.Catherine, Fanny Crosby, Pope Francis and Philip Ng.

Topic: Becoming a Friend of the Faithful God - Precept
Upon Precept (Gen Part 3)
This is an Inductive Bible Study Course on Abraham. Learn principles and
truths from the life of Abraham, the friend of God, that will ground you in
your faith, challenge you in your walk, and give you hope in your future. In the life of Abraham, we see God's choosing and the further unfolding of
His redemptive plan. You can join in without having attended Gen Pt 1 & 2. Praise God for a great turnout of foreign Indian workers last Sat to hear the
Christmas message. 15 indicated they want to accept Jesus as their personal Saviour, 37 indicated they wanted to know more about Jesus. Pray for follow-up of all
concerned.
Each family/household is given a complimentary copy of the Book &
Calendar. To facilitate distribution, we are giving them out via the small groups.
If you haven’t done so, small group leaders or appointed representatives
are to collect these outside the Annex after the Worship Services today.
Those who are still not in any small groups may sign out for your copy
(1 per family).
