Technical requirements You do not need to download anything in advance of the fair but please make sure you log in using Chrome or Firefox browsers. If you would like to have the opportunity to talk to any of the employers one-to-one, you must allow access to your camera and microphone.

If you find that cannot access your camera and microphone, please make sure you have given permission to your browser by clicking the lock icon at the top left-hand side of the URL, then “Allow”. Ensure “Cookies” are allowed, too.

Creating your profile Once logged in you will have the opportunity to add more profile information. This includes:

Can I get some advice on how to 'virtually network'? Last month we hosted a webinar: Online careers fairs - what are they and how can graduates prepare for them?

In this webinar we discussed what students can expect from online careers fairs and the best ways to prepare for them. We also talked about some of the potential pitfalls of attending a virtual fair versus one in person, covered some more niche tips for international students and looked at how not to sound ‘creepy’ when following up on LinkedIn.
