Can you provide any explanation to this?

Page 5: Welcome to Ms. Stafford’s Class Please sit four to three in a group and each individual write down on the index card two facts about each of the other.

The solution based on Science is different than that of the urban legend.

A “point system” is used in this class. Some assignments are given a higher point value. All assignments will have a grade on it that shows how many points the student earned out of the number of points possible. Therefore, successful completion of this course requires completion of all assignments that are given. Each student can determine his/her letter grade at any time by determining the percent earned. (Number of total points earned divided by total of possible points).

Page 13: Welcome to Ms. Stafford’s Class Please sit four to three in a group and each individual write down on the index card two facts about each of the other.

ASSIGNMENT POLICY: Assignments are to be turned in at the beginning of the period on the date which they are due. If turned in on time, a maximum of 100% can be earned. However, if the assignment is late (1 or more days), no points will be given but the instructor will correct it and note in the grade book (with a check mark) that the assignment was completed. Assignments SHOULD be turned in even if they are late, because it is proof to the instructor that the student is capable of completing 8th grade level work.
