Good Stuff to Know

• Dress Code – Check the student handbook for details about the student dress code at www.eraisd.net

• Changes in your child’s routine – We must receive a signed note from the parent.

• Absence – Students may return to school after being symptom free for 24 hours. Send a note!

• Tardies – Students will be sent to the office for a tardy slip if they come to class after 8:00 AM.

More Good Stuff to Know

• Weather – If the weather outside is either too hot/too cold, we will have indoor recess.

• Extra Clothes – Leave an extra set of clothes in a large Ziploc bag in your child’s backpack at all times.

• Drop Off/Pick Up – After the first few days, children are expected to come to class on their own.

Snack & Rest Time

• Please bring a week’s worth of snacks at a time • 18 kids in our class• Towel with child’s name on it (sent home on Fridays to be washed)

• READ, READ, READ• Review letters and sounds • Look for letters/words in LIFE• Review “Popcorn Words” as often as you can• Point out patterns, shapes, & colors• Tell them what you know!
