SEMINARS & MEETINGS AT HOTEL INTERLAKEN
Locations allowing privacy and concentration are very important for efficient seminars and trainings. Our seminar and conference rooms offer all the necessary requirements in order to hold a successful event. As well as the technical equipment we also offer a calm atmosphere, perfect organisation combined with excellent staff service. It would be a pleasure for us to enhance your occasion with the special charm of our house.
The historical building is the oldest hotel in Interlaken and is centrally located directly next to the Japanese Garden. Our focus is on genuine hospitality and individual service and the rooms are all comfortably furnished and have free wired Internet. There is free WIFI throughout the entire hotel. Furthermore an internet-corner with PCs and a printer is at your disposal.
The entire hotel is non-smoking.

FACILITIES
In 2013 we completely renovated our seminar rooms in the “Pavillon”. You will now find welcoming, naturally lit rooms in a tasteful design and well-appointed with all modern technical equipment. As the rooms are located directly next to our hotel park, this gives you the opportunity of outdoor breaks. Thanks to the partition walls the rooms are very flexible and can be adjusted to the desired size.
In earlier days the “Gerichtsäli” was the courtroom of the Bernese Oberland where the less obedient citizens would receive their sentences. Today the room still exudes a special charm but now is the perfect setting for smaller meetings.
In the “Rokoko Saal” you will find a lot of historical flair. Walls and ceiling are decorated with floral ornaments and you will feel the charm of ancient times. This room is mostly used for banquets but can easily also be set up for meetings.

CANCELLATION POLICY
In case of cancellation of a confirmed seminar, the following charges will apply:
• More than 4 weeks prior to arrival free of charge
• 28 to 22 days prior to arrival 20% of the confirmed services*
• 21 to 8 days prior to arrival 50% of the confirmed services *
• 7 to 3 days prior to arrival 80% of the confirmed services
• 2 to 0 days prior to arrival 100% of the confirmed services
* excluding food & beverage

ROOMS
All rooms at the Hotel Interlaken are non-smoking and have been carefully renovated during
the past few years.
They are equipped with electric kettle for free coffee and tea, cable-tv with flat screen,
telephone and safe, desk with free wired internet as well as WIFI and bath room with wc,
bath tub or shower, toiletries and hairdryer.
We offer the following room categories:
• Economy single room: Standard single room with one single bed, 15 – 17 m2
• Business single room: Larger room with queen sized bed, 17 – 21 m2
• Economy double room: Standard double room with queen sized bed or twin beds, 17 –
21 m2
• Business double room: larger double room with twin beds, 23 – 26 m2
• Junior Suite : Spacious room with twin beds, sitting area and large bath room, 35 – 40
m2

Restaurant Taverne
In our Restaurant Taverne we serve a modern Swiss cuisine and international dishes. The
Restaurant with its historical flair offers a cosy setting for your meals and during summer you
can also sit outside on the nice terrace next to the Japanese Garden.

Kloster Lounge & Bar
Enjoy the cosiness of this bar and relax with a fresh cocktail or a Kloster-beer from the local
brewery, a game of chess or some TV – here you can recover after an eventful day…
Opening hours: Tuesday to Saturday from 04.00 pm
Annual holidays: January 18th until February 8th 2015
For your special occasion the opening hours of the Lounge & Bar as well as of the Restaurant
can be individually adjusted.

HOW TO FIND US
The Hotel Interlaken is centrally located, directly on the Höheweg next to the Japanese
Garden and the 2 churches. From here you can easily reach the center of Interlaken with its
many shopping possibilities, bars and restaurants as well as the Congress Center and the
Casino Kursaal. Also the train station east (Bahnhof Ost), which serves as starting point for
all excursions into the Jungfrau Region, is only 5 minutes walk away.
Arriving by train
We are a 5 minute walk from the train station Ost (east). When leaving the station, turn to
your right and take direction Center (Untere Bönigstrasse, Höheweg). You will find the hotel
on your left hand side, just next to the Japanese Garden.
Arriving by car
Take the highway exit no 26, Interlaken Ost and follow the signs towards the train station.
Once in front of the station turn left direction Center (Untere Bönigstrasse, Höheweg).
Follow the street for about 400 meters – the Hotel Interlaken is situated on the left hand
side, just next to the Japanese Garden.
A limited number of free parking spaces are at your disposal across the street as well as
behind the hotel.
