In the area…..
The Montachusett Chorale will present its Spring Concert on Sunday, April 29th, 2 pm at Leominster City Hall. The concert will benefit Ginny’s Helping Hands. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door. Under 18– Free. Tickets available at Ginny’s and in the Mayor’s Office. The Sisters of the Presentation of the B.V.M. are sponsoring a Spring Day of Prayer for women on Saturday, May 5, 9:30 am—3 pm, at the Presen-tation Convent. Opportunity for reflec-tion and sharing. Lunch included. Free will offerings accepted. Each one is invited to donate a container of baby food. To register, call Sr. Mary Anne Seliga at 978-537-7108.
Eucharistic Adoration Every Friday after the
8 am Mass, Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is placed on the
monstrance. It is an opportunity for private and personal prayer before Jesus. You could almost say it is a
‘face to face conversation’.
The morning concludes at 11:15 am with another Devotion: the Divine Mercy Chap-
let, followed by Benediction. The Chaplet is a beautiful prayer
asking for God’s mercy. Benediction in this case is giving you a
blessing with the Body of Christ Himself.
