EL CREDO NICENO

Creemos en un solo Dios, Padre todopoderoso, Creador de cielo y tierra, de todo lo visible e invisible.

THE NICENE CREED

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made truly human.

For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.

TRANSITION PRAYER / ORACION DE TRANSICIÓN

O God, in this interim time we pray for our parish family, that we may be genuine in our self-reflection, tireless in our commitment, patient in our discernment, loving in our communion, open in our search, and daring in our faith. We thank you for the gifts, talents and skills with which you have blessed us. We thank you for the experiences that have brought us to this moment. Help us accept change as a gift of your direction for our journey in this transition. Instill in us a vision of the church’s family; that, guided by your Holy Spirit, we will be united in love and joyfully accomplish this mission, through Jesus Christ our Lord.Amen.

Oh Dios, en este tiempo intermedio oramos por nuestra familia parroquial, para que seamos genuinos en nuestra auto-reflexión, incansables en nuestro compromiso, paci-entes en nuestro discernimiento, amorosos en nuestra comunión, abiertos en nuestra búsqueda y atrevidos en nuestra fe.
