DON’T Get caught up in that lonely feelingI know it is difficult right now to stay in-touch with friends and make new ones. You’re not alone.
Stress over grades too muchGrades are important, but not the end of the world.
Lose who you are to try to fit inDon’t be a bystander! If you see something, say something.!
DO Reach out to others for help and friends that make you happy.Be brave! It’s hard to be open and tell someone how you feel. You may be surprised others may feel the same. You’re not alone!
Your best in your classes and stay organized.Staying on-top of your work and asking questions are keys to success!
Take care of yourselfSelf-care is incredibly important. When you feel yourself getting overwhelmed and stress, take a break.
“The advice l would give you is to just
stay yourself, like you were last year or
make the best of it, better than last year.
Because you did just fine last year. l feel
like you really shouldn't need another
way to act or anything even if it feels
like it!!”
“1. Try not to procrastinate and work at your
own pace with work.
2. Communicate with your teachers online if
you have any questions for assistance.
3. Don't be afraid to ask questions!
4. And don't beat yourself up on your first
day. A little practice will help”
Mr. Dennis Ms. Sartori
“I teach Science”
My name is Sienna Sartori and I teach science here at College Park Middle School. This is my 4th year
teaching here and I am so excited to spend the school year with you! I am married to my best friend, Cameron, and we have 2 sons,
Caden and Nico.I enjoy cooking and baking, going to Disney, and reading. I went to UCF for my undergraduate and UF for my masters, Go Gators and Knights! I love all things science and can’t wait
to start the year with you!
Ms. Giannone
Hello! My name is Ms. Giannone and I teach 6th grade Science at College Park Middle School. This will be my 4th year teaching at CPMS and I am so excited
for this upcoming school year. It will definitely be different, but there is nothing we can’t accomplish together! Before I became a teacher, I was a veterinary technician and the managing director of a large animal shelter; so I LOVE
animals! I currently have 4 animal members of my family: my dog Elvis, my cat Parker (named after CPMS) where she was found as a tiny kitten), my turtle
PopTart, and my snake Jagger. PopTart and Jagger actually live in my classroom during the school year as class pets. I graduated from Wheaton College in MA with a degree in Biology and teaching science is my passion. I especially love teaching middle school, it is such an integral time for growth and learning in
everyone’s life!
Mrs. Dietz
Hi...it's Mrs. Dietz here (rhymes with "beets"....beets...Dietz).
You are starting middle school and 6th grade! You have already gone to school 1,080 days! You are only 4 years
from driving a car! You have 72 hours left in your summer! Can you tell I like numbers? That is because I am your new numbers, aka Math, teacher. I can't wait to meet you online or in person. Here is a math riddle: A rooster laid 11 eggs. The farmer came by and took 7 eggs. Then the rooster laid 9 eggs, but 5 of them were rotten. How many good eggs are left? (Be ready with
your answer on Monday! Enjoy your last days of freedom/summer!)
