Classroom Norms

This year in MSM we will be studying:

Number Relationships (whole number, decimal and fraction operations, number forms)

Algebra Patterns & Functions (variables, expressions)

Geometry

Measurement

Statistics (data analysis)

Probability

This year in Math Seminar we will be studying 5 units:

Making Healthy Choices

Feeding the Hungry

Fundraising for a Cause

Designing a community pool

Survey Analysis

*These units are directly related to content in MSM 1.

Homework

Will be assigned most nights.

Late homework will NOT be accepted.

Homework assignments should be completed IN PENCIL in the math spiral or on the worksheet. It will be specified in the students agenda.

Other Important Info:

Students can check my wiki for announcements and homework assignments.

Students are to leave their books at home and return them in June*.

Students are to come to class with pencils (at least 2), math spirals, paper and agendas daily!

*Due to the Common Core curriculum concepts may not line up to material in the text.
