Welcome to Asbury. Here at Asbury, our mission is clear: helping others follow Jesus. You’ll see it in practice in everything we do, for every age group. There are plenty of ways for you to get involved, too. From ministries that will help you grow your relationship with Jesus to opportunities where you can help others. Just ask at the Guest Services Desk in the front lobby after church. We’re glad you’re here today, and we want to help you get plugged in! David Read leads a discussion during the “Kingdom Conversations” Learn2 class.

Good Faith LIVE Sunday Evening, August 7 6 - 7:30 pm in the Sanctuary ( Admission for Good Faith Live is free and open to the public. Invite a friend!)

Everyone is freaking out about the state of our country and our world, and it seems like the church is losing. David Kinnaman, best-selling author and Barna Group president, and Gabe Lyons, founder of Q Ideas and co-author (with Kinnaman) of “Good Faith,” will show us how this isn’t all bad news and that Christians have been through this kind of thing before.

Good Faith Live will help you to:

· Respond with compassion, clarity and confidence to the most toxic issues of our day

· Know what you believe and why it doesn’t make you a judgmental or extreme person

· Stop being afraid to talk about what you believe and start having meaningful conversations about tough issues

· Understand the heart behind opposing views and learn how to stay friends across differences

Good Faith books will be available for purchase on the mornings of July 31 and August 7 and at Good Faith Live. Books cost $15 for one, $25 for two, or $55 for five. Kinnaman and Lyons will be available to sign books after Good Faith Live.

Sunday Morning Worship 9:15 am and 11 am, August 7On Sunday morning, August 7, David Kinnaman, will be kicking off our new sermon series called Outsiders, a guide to faithful living when culture thinks we’re crazy. In the chaos of an election year and with rapidly shifting social values, Kinnaman will share reasons why Christians should be more hopeful and courageous than ever, based on groundbreaking research, thousands of interviews and conversations with cultural and church leaders.
