projected by U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (2009)

More than 250,000 PR jobs in the U.S. – and thousands more not specifically identified with the term “public relations” Examples: media buyer, media planner, event planner, blogger, social media

specialist, integrated marketing communication, promotional products rep, etc.

Grads get jobs! PR students have the highest level of post-Bachelor’s degree employment of all graduates from the communication disciplines (University of Georgia, 2007)
