LEVELIZED BILLINGTM

Levelized Billing is available to all Cooperative members who wish to be able to budget in advance for their utility bills.

Levelized Billing uses a rolling average of your electric bill for themost recent 12 months.

ADVANCE PAYAdvance Pay is a flexible payment plan that works similar

to a prepaid cellular phone. You put money into your Advance Pay account and as you use electricity, the cost of the usage will be deducted from your Advance Pay account balance daily.

CAPITAL CREDITSCapital Credits are the only form of equity a consumer-ownedutility has. Each year, all revenue over and above expenses is

assigned by the Cooperative to each member’s Capital CreditsAccount. The amount of your Capital Credits is determined by your yearly payments for electricity.

OPERATION ROUND UP®

By rounding up electric bills to the next highest dollar, approximately $6 a year per member, Palmetto Electric Trust

contributes money to local charities and needy individuals in Beaufort, Hampton and Jasper counties. If you have any questions, or if you decide not to participate, please give us a call.

BURIED TREASUREBuried Treasure offers rebates on environmentally friendlyground source heat pumps. These heat pumps transfer heat into or out of your house using ordinary tap water.

GREEN POWERPalmetto joins with Santee Cooper to offerGreen Power. The environmentally friendly

program gives you the opportunity to purchase electricity generatedby renewable power sources.

ENERGY AUDITSAt your request, qualified Palmetto Electric personnel willvisit your home and advise you on improvements that canresult in energy and money savings.This service is provided

at no cost to you and is scheduled during normal business hours.

WASHINGTON YOUTH TOUR / COOPERATIVE YOUTH SUMMITEach year Palmetto Electric sponsors local high school

juniors* for a week-long, all-expenses paid trip to our nation’s capital.This tour educates students about co-ops and our government. Theyget to tour Washington D.C. and experience United States History.

In July, PEC sponsors local high school juniors* to experience South Carolina’s capital like never before.

Students from across the state tour the statehouse, meet lawmakersand visit Columbia attractions like Riverbanks Zoo & Garden.
