Homework Expectations Mathletics is our online Maths homework tool.
Daily reading is still important and we encourage children to read widely.
Children are welcome to read ‘home’ books and record their reading in their reading diary.
Children will often be given spelling homework based on a spelling rule. Spelling tests are based around our project learning.
Project homework has changed. Children choose six of the nine homework activities to do over the half term. Some may take longer than one week. Please send a note if your child needs longer than one week to complete a task.

Equipment for School
We would like children to try to fit all their belongings into one small bag or rucksack – our cloakroom space is limited. PE kits should be in a small drawstring bag and should be in school every day.
Children can bring one small pencil case containing the following items: pencil, rubber, long ruler, coloured pencils, pencil sharpener, whiteboard pen and glue stick
All children should have a named water bottle, which they will take home at the end of the day to be washed.
PLEASE NAME ALL BELONGINGS!
