WELCOME SANTA IN THE CHRISTMAS PARADE WHICH LEAVES AT 9:45 a.m.from behind town on Saturday, December 5th.Santa will be greeted by the ROCKETTES of The Dance Centré at his house.
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 4th ACTIVITIES INCLUDE FREE ICE SKATINGFROM 2:30 PM TO 7:30 PM AND THE SNOWBALL DROP WHICH STARTS AT 5:00 PM
FOR THE TODDLERS AND CONTINUES THROUGH 5:45 PM. LISTEN TO DIRECTIONS ON THE P.A. SYSTEM FROM THE FIREMEN AND EVERYONE WILL
HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME. PICK UP PRIZES AT THE TSC GARAGE.
ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 5th FROM 10:00 AM UNTIL 3:00 PM.The ice rink at the corner of Main and Perry, will be open Friday, Dec. 4th, 2:30 to 7:30 pm and Sat. Dec. 5th from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM. The rink is decorated by Village Green and the City of Wapakoneta. Christmas Tea Party (Pre-Registration was required) For girls ages 3 to 8 at First English Lutheran Church 8:30 to 9:15 am. Autographs with Beauty Pageant Winners.Christmas Race Car Breakfast: (Pre-Registration was required). For boys and girls ages 3 to 8 at Mike Swaney’s Dealership from 8:30 to 9:15 am. Speaker racing champion Jared Spalding and his crew from UNOH will be there for pix and chat. Prizes include a child’s ride-on lamborghini car, racing tire toy chest dresser, racing tire toy chest, skateboard, Batman chair, and green and red ride-on motorcycles.

LOOK WHO’S JOINING US FOR THE HOMETOWN HOLIDAY...THEY ALL HAVE TREATS FOR VERY SPECIAL YOU.
Buses courtesy of The Gardens and The “Y” will be available to take your group to Haehns, Grandview Plaza, the “YMCA”, Village Green and Great Clips. Leave your car parked downtown and enjoy the free ride to and from the sites of your choice. The buses are located in St. Pauls parking lot and do NOT have designated departure times.
Story Times at the Library featuring Mrs. Claus are at 11:00 AM and noon. The Noon Optimists will be at the library serving hot chocolate and cookies and will give away door prizes following story times. Children’s Book Authors Pam Egbert and Autumn Seigel will be at the library to sign free autographs for you. Free personally autographed photos of Astronauts will also be given away at the library in conjunction with our community ties to the space program.
CAMELS: On The Way to Bethlehem, a tent sponsored by Trupointe, will house camels, llamas, donkeys, sheep and goats.A LIVE NATIVITY drive through scene at Harvest Baptist Church will be ongoing from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM following the fireworks on December 5th.
HOT DOGS & BEVERAGES courtesy of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, DANNON YOGURT courtesy of Dannon, and COOKIES courtesy of CVS will be free for children from 11:00 until 2:00 PM or until gone. There will also be chili and shredded chicken sandwiches available for purchase by adults.
Penguins and Zoo Babies will be at the TSC Parking Garage from 11:00 until noon only. Children will be sitting on carpets as they do at story time in the library and at pre school, and parents will rim the walls. That way all children will have the opportunity to see and enjoy the baby animals without having an adult blocking their view. Thank Scott Moell of Arby’s for the baby animal show and thank Lonnie Pedersen of the Telephone Service Company for the use of their garage.
FIREWORKS start at 6:00 PM at the Middle School on the football practice field on December 5th.

WHS SWING CHOIR WILL STROLL THE STREETS CAROLING FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT.
Doug Daley’s Brass Band will also be at Ron Spencer Realty on Auglaize Street helping create the Holiday mood. Say hello to Santa’s Belles, distinguishable by green Santa Hats and jingle bells.
Several things will be happening at the Eagles. Follow the signs!!!Meet Miss Ohio 2015 Sarah Hider and Miss Ohio 2103 Heather Wells Barrett.
They will sign autographs and take pictures with you along with the Summerfest Royalty and Auglaize County Fair Queen Elizabeth Morgan. The photo booth,
balloon animals and The Micah Nicol Magic Show will also be there.
Local race car driver and winner, Scott Bowersock, will also be at The Eagles signing autographs.
DON’T FORGET ABOUT OUR PANCAKE BREAKFAST AT THE K OF C HALLON SUNDAY MORNING FROM 8 A.M. TO NOON. SANTA WILL BE THERE TOO!
