MAY 28 WORSHIP
JUNE 4 WORSHIP
ADULTS will have two class options during this year’s Summer Electives. The “God’s Story—Our Response” series will meet in Fel-
lowship Hall for a lecture format class. The “Cooperation Without Compromise” series will meet in Room 016 and will be a small
group/discussion based format. Our focus in both options will be to move us from knowing God’s Story to recognizing our stories
of faith as disciples of Jesus Christ. Summer Elective brochures, which provide a list of classes and teachers, are available at the
Information Desk and at the entrances to the sanctuary.
YOUTH will have two different series this summer. “Wired” is a series about how we are all wired, and called by Jesus, to love God,
ourselves, and others. We’ll talk about how the image of God is all around us. Students will be reminded that God loves them ex-
actly as they are. And students will learn that they can love God by loving others. “What makes you happy?” is series in which we
begin to ask the question, what makes you happy? And, one thing we’ll find is that Jesus cares a lot about our happiness. Not only
that, we’ll discover where we find happiness may be in a different place than we ever thought—having to do less with a what, and
more with a Who.
PRESCHOOL CHILDREN- Children three and potty-trained to those entering Kindergarten in the Fall will meet in room 215 for Bible
lessons, music, crafts and fun!
ELEMENTARY CHILDREN- Children entering first through fifth grade during the 2017/18 school year will join together in room 220
for a deeper exploration of the Book of Acts using science experiments, crafts, prayer stations, and multi-media. They will start as a
group and break up into small groups each Sunday. Parents are encouraged to continue the learning at home with a take home
page sent by email or “taken” on Sunday. Come join us!
