attitudes associated with positive health behaviors?

4th and 5th Grade Outcomes
Students who received the Michigan Model for Health® curriculum showed significant, positive changes compared to a randomized control group.
Specifically, students who received the Michigan Model for Health® had:
better interpersonal communication skills
stronger social emotional skillsenhanced self-management
skillsless reported aggression in the past 30
days
stronger drug refusal skillsless reported alcohol and tobacco
use in the past 30 dayslater age of first alcohol and
cigarette usereduced intentions to use alcohol
and smoke cigarettes
