Dear Friends and Colleagues,
On behalf of the organizing committee, I am delighted to welcome you warmly to the Rhinology at Alexandria meeting. This will be
held in the period from 17 to 19 October,2018 in Alexandria. This year, not will you only notice a change in the venue of the meeting but in the soul as well. The congress will be staged at the highly acclaimed HELNAN PALESTINE HOTEL. Rhinologists, from all
over Egypt, were invited to present their work and share experience with our international guest faculty. Ample time was given, in the form of 15 instructional courses, to our international guest speakers to present and share their experience. A new session, Junior Otolaryngolists competition, was added to encourage the participation of all generations. Alexandria Society of Rhinology (ASR) sponsors
an annual meeting since its foundation in 2008. This year, Rhinology at Alexandria is the only official meeting of the society. The growing success of the conference over the past nine years has encouraged the society board to collaborate with other international societies and to add international faculty to the meeting advisory board. We are aiming to make the annual meeting an international rather than a national event. Inspired by our dream, next year, the ASR meeting will be named RHINOMASTERS 2019 and will be
held in the mother city of the society for one more time. At the end, I am sure that Rhinology at Alexandria 2018 will be a memorable experience. Wish you a pleasant
stay in Alexandria and look forward to see you in future events Ayman Al Madani, MD Professor ORL. Alexandria Faculty of Medicine. General Secretary of Rhinology at Alexandria 2018
Welcome Message

Dear friends and colleagues,
Welcome to the Rhinology at Alexandria 2018 meeting. In
this year you may notice a big change in the name and
content of the meeting. The aim of the meeting, however,
remains the same. The meeting remains a tool of continuing
medical education and a venue for communicating together,
learning about new advances and techniques in the field of
rhinology, and exchanging ideas and experiences.
The meeting will be followed by a two-day cadaveric dissection course. The course will
cover the basic and more frequently needed endoscopic procedures and will
complement, and add to, the scientific material presented during the meeting.
This year, we will have young doctors contest in collaboration with the Egyptian Society
of Otolaryngology.
Due to the annual growth of the meeting over the last nine years and the expected
success this year, we decided to collaborate with national and international societies and
to add international faculty to our advisory board. RHINOMASTERS 2019 will be the
official meeting of Alexandria Society of Rhinology (ASR) next year.
We should not forget the social aspects of the meeting. The meeting is a valuable chance
of knowing new friends and colleagues, strengthening our relationships, chatting
together, and building up a new viable social network between us.
The organizing committee has done every effort to make your attendance useful, and
your stay enjoyable. Please do not hesitate to contact any of us if you have any remarks
or requests.
