Welcome to the 14th year of the Driving Fore a Cure Golf Classic! Recently, I’ve spent time thinking about the question, “What drives you?” While I realize that this is a question we all should ponder daily, it also led me to consider our organization’s Mission Statement. Are we staying true to that original mission?

It shall be the object of Ohio Valley Breast Cancer Awareness, Inc. d/b/a Driving Fore a Cure Golf Classic to foster, promote and advance the cause of breast cancer awareness within the Upper Ohio Valley area through activities and events including but not limited to, an annual golf tournament. The activities and efforts of Ohio Valley Breast Cancer Awareness, Inc. d/b/a Driving Fore a Cure Golf Classic will also focus on raising funds to be donated to other nonprofit organizations dedicated to assisting breast cancer patients during their treatment and recovery and other nonprofit organizations dedicated to the principles and objectives of Ohio Valley Breast Cancer Awareness, Inc.

Yes, I believe we are staying true to our vision and we pledge to continue to keep the objectives of our mission at the forefront of all of our organization’s efforts.

We want to thank you for your part in making this mission a reality, for joining us year after year helping so many who are facing their own personal breast cancer battles.

And, we especially want to thank our amazing sponsors, most of whom have been part of this work since its inception 14 years ago. Directions to Camp Russel

Leaving Speidel Golf Club, turn right onto Rte. 88 South.

Turn left in 1.5 miles at Oglebay Good Zoo (Oglebay Park sign is facing away from you).

Continue crossing lower Zoo parking lot to Camp Russel parking.

We will enjoy our dinner in the enclosed building on the left.

Rules and Regulations

Scramble Format

Men play from the white tees; Women playfrom the red tees

Place ball within 12 inches no closer to hole,in same cut

All putts, except bogey putts, must beholed out

Mulligans to be used anytime, EXCEPT fortee shot on hole-in-one holes

Maximum score on each hole - BogeyDo NOT putt for Bogey

In case of rain, play continues… Lightning cease play

In case of ties, score cards will be matchedbeginning on #1 handicap hole
