LYON 2019
France’s second largest city by population number, Lyon, classified a UNESCO World heritage site, is full of wealth and resources!
Its architecture harmoniously combines several styles: the colorful facades of the banks of the Saône make think of Pisa or Rome, while the West side of the Rhone presents a face more haussmanian. Both Latin and Nordic, the former capital of the Gaule is a concentrate of France, even in its title of capital of gastronomy!
Lyon also surprises by the modernity of its major urban projects, such as Lyon Confluence which ultimately will triple the capacity of downtown.
Cultural events of international scope mark the course of the year: Festival of Lights, the Biennial of Dance and Contemporary Art, Fourvière Nights and Nuits Sonores music festival.
Lyon, it is also the sweetness of life in a protected environment (banks of the Rhône, the Tête d’Or Park ), the quality and diversity of its hotels, the international reputation of its chefs and gastronomy. Life at Lyon is first an art of living...
Lyon is part of the Europe’s top 20 and the World’s top 30 Convention cities, thus achieving unprecedented progress that benefits the local economy. This international recognition is based on the diversity and quality of Lyon’s offering, within which the Centre of Congress in Lyon plays a prominent role.
The Organizing Committee welcomes you and hopes to ensure your satisfaction, with respect to hospitality, as well as technical content, coupled with both technical and cultural tours
