COMMON TENETS OF THE FAITH

• God is triune (1 Timothy 2:5, 2 Corinthians 13:14)

• The Bible is the infallible Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16)

• The person and work of Jesus Christ (John 1:1, 14, 1 Peter 2:24)

• The Lord was crucified and resurrected; then He ascended and will return (1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Acts 1:11)

• Salvation - whenever a person repents to God and believes in the Lord Jesus Christ, he is regenerated (born again) and becomes a living member of the Body of Christ (Acts 20:21, Ephesians 2:19)

COMMON TENETS OF THE FAITH

1 Timothy 2:3-4 – …our Savior God, Who desires all men to be saved and to come to the full knowledge of the truth.

Jude 3 – Beloved, while using all diligence to write to you

concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you and exhort you to earnestly contend for the faith once for

all delivered to the saints.

Matthew 15:6 – …you have deprived the word of God of its authority because of your tradition.
