• Developed and released the following new algorithms• som2d – clustering of waveforms/stacking patterns at each trace• som3d – clustering of attribute vectors at each voxel• nmo_mp – non-stretch normal moveout using matching pursuit• sof_prestack – prestack structure-oriented filtering• azim_offset_mig – simple prestack Kirchhoff time migration• aaspi_util_prestack – GUIs and scripts to handle migrated data
• Prototyped the following new algorithms• Constrained 3D least-squares prestack time migration (working) • cwt, cwt_inverse, and bandwidth extension (needs aaspi_io)• Phase residue mapping of unconformities (needs aaspi_io)• High resolution (factor component) velocity analysis
• Improved the following existing algorithms• sof3d – near total restructuring• dip3d – simplified and streamlined Kuwahara window options• spec_cmp, sof3d – significantly improved spectral balancing
