3. Greet your teacher and friends and respond when others greet you.
4. Celebrate and compliment you classmates.
5. Be good winners and losers.
6. Walk quietly in a single file line in the hallway.
7. Respect others’ space and property.
8. Follow lunchroom rules and use good table manners.
9. Always be honest, no matter what.
10. Be kind and play safely on the playground.
11. Keep our school clean.

AGENDAS Each student should have an agenda to keep track of daily assignments.
The agendas need to be checked daily by parents.
Parents please check these every night to help the students stay on task and learn responsibility.
HOMEWORK Homework will be
assigned in 5th grade daily.
Check your students agenda nightly for homework assignments.

ATTENDANCE
7:40 AM-2:20 PM To be an excused absence,
a note must be sent in with a parent signature explaining the reason for the absence.
No bus changes. Phone calls will not excuse
an absence. If absent, five days will be
given for make-up work. Car rider line will be locked
at 7:40A.M. If arriving after that time, student must be checked in at the front office.

IMPORTANT TEST DATES Georgia Writing Test March 5th, 2014 CRCT (Criterion Referenced Competency Test)
– Reading April 9, 2014– Language Arts April 10, 2014– Math April 15, 2014– Science April 16, 2014– Social Studies April 17, 2014
Students must meet standards in reading and math in order to be promoted to 6th grade
Interim Assessments: Twice a year in Math and Language Arts
