Part of our faith is living this life in light of the glorious life to come. Its the hope of heaven that keeps us thankful for what God has done and keeps us encouraged as we inevitably face difficulties here on this fallen planet. May the hope of heaven always burn brightly in our hearts! So glad you are here this morning! Lets give thanks to our Father. We are blessed to have Lanny Tucker from Eastern European Mission with us

this morning. Lanny will be giving us an update on the exciting work of EEM during Bible Class and then will be delivering today’s sermon. Part of our April 21st Grace Offering is designated to help out with this ministry. Please welcome Lanny and his family. Community Resurrection Celebration & Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 20 at 2:00 Volunteers needed for donations of non-chocolate candy. Please pick up bags of plastic eggs found under the coat racks outside the worship center. Return filled eggs to the office no later than April 14. Volunteers needed to pro-vide kid friendly snack foods for the event. Volun-teers needed to hide eggs, host, and set up and clean up. Contact Amyee McAl-ister to volunteer, 903-271-6111.

WBS Benefit Dinner You are cordially invited to the World Bible School Dallas Benefit dinner at the Dallas Double Tree Hotel on Tuesday April 9, at 6:30 pm. You can find out what God is doing around the world through WBS. Transportation is provided on the church bus. There is no charge to attend. News and Notes Intergenerational Mission Trip Our upcoming mission trip to Casa de la Esperanza in Anahuac, Mexico will be

July 30-August 7. We will be spending time with the children and working on projects on the campus of Casa. The cost is $250 per person. A $50 deposit is required to secure your spot. Youth must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Contact me for more details. Family Promise We will host Family Promise again on May 12-19. If you are interested in volunteering please contact me.

Summer Youth Interns This coming summer we have two very talented interns who will be joining Park Ave Youth for the summer. Matt Fox and Madison McDonald will be here from May 29-August 7. Senior Sunday (May 5) Senior Sunday is May 5. Seniors and parents be looking for information next week about upcoming deadlines for pictures and such.
