Everest Vacation Bible SchoolThank you to all of the volunteers and participants of Everest Vacation Bible School! The week was a huge success!

Help is needed at the Mars Hill Mission Trip! Each year CMPC joins forces with other churches to do incredibly important mission work in Mars Hill, NC. This is an all-age mission trip so that everyone—including children and their parents—can be a part of this amazing experience. This means that the children’s ministry which takes place on the college campus where we stay is just as important as the work we do in the homes of the people in need.

But, to make the children’s ministry work we need adult volunteers to assist the children’s ministry coordinator from Shadyside Presbyterian Church (one of our partner churches) in running VBS for the week.

Here is where you come in! We need a couple volunteers to join us for this amazing week and help with the children’s ministry during the day. It is an incredibly rewarding experience. The trip will take place July 12-18. Scholarship funds are available. If you are interested and willing please contact Pastor Scott ASAP (410-997-8011 or [email protected]).

The Fourth of July CelebrationWhat better place to celebrate our nation’s independence than CMPC?! Join us at 7 p.m. on our Shaker Drive lawn and enjoy hot dogs, snow cones, fun activities, and then watch the fireworks that are launched over Lake Kittamaqundi between 9 - 9:30 p.m. Bring a blanket or lawn chair if you wish. Don’t miss this fun opportunity and invite your friends!
