MAJOR STRATEGIES

A)Micro nutrients:

Massive Soil Health Campaign – Collected 840 soil samples

during 2015-16 through GPS.

Planning for distribution of Micronutrients to 3000 ha.

Already distributed 30 MTs of Zinc Sulphate and 17Qtls of

Boron.

B) Village level Action Plan has been prepared for 14

villages to address the gaps in productivity.

Major Strategies for achieving double digit growth

C) Crop wise strategies for increasing productivity in each crop

by adopting good agricultural practices with emphasis on

reducing cost of cultivation.

Focus on reducing cost of cultivation by adopting methods like:

Drum Sedding (500 ha) direct seeding in paddy (1000 ha), zero

tillage in maize (2800 ha.), pulses in rice fallows (1500 ha), etc.
