To who m it may concern, I would like to take this opportunity to recommend Jacob Weinstein as an outstanding candidate for your university program. Jacob has many great qualities that would make him an asset to any University. ln the 200912010 season I was the head coach ofa boy's basketball team made up of 14 and 15 year olds in the West lsland basketball league. I needed an assistant coach to help with the team. I approached Jacob who was more than happy to volunteer. He must have put in 3O hours of work on the court plus many additional hours off the court getting ready for practice and games. During his time as an assistant coach I found Jacob to be very reliable, organized and have a great work ethic. After a few weeks I was able to step back and let Jacob run the practices. He started to outline the practices and introduce new offensive plays. He was able to get and keep the attention of the players while introducing new plays. On game days he was great at encouraging the players and keeping them focused on what they were supposed to do. With 12 players on the team he was able to work with each one and make them better players and teammates. Please contact me if you need any other information.
