WEF-Santa Barbara focused on the big opportunity for leadership from the feminine consciousness of nurturing and connecting, and how the feminine spirit can change the landscape for dialogue and growth in business and policies. The forum discussed global issues relating to women’s integration in the mainstream of society as well as cultures and mindsets that continue to leave many women out. It dived into inquiry around how through “soft power” of awakening the feminine in both men and women, the US can strengthen its leadership position in technology, innovation and creativity, and also play the much-needed role of bringing hearts and minds together. It was a collaborative platform for an open dialogue on how the United States has an opportunity to reinvent itself into a more dynamic, more collaborative, more inclusive society where the interests of a diverse cross sections of society are addressed and their growing global aspirations explored.
