WEEKLY NEWSLETTER NO. 21

1111101 Every year during the month of December, as it gets closer to the

festive days, the Club meets at Agios Stefanos Foundation for its

annual Christmas Lunch.

The meeting was called on order at 13.15 with Srgt at Arms Kyriakos Kalogreades saying Grace. Following that, the Agios Stefanos Foundation arranged a Christmas Theatrical Performance performed by some of the Foundations’ residence. It was a great show, proving all the hard work and effort the teachers and management put into this Individual Foundation.

For this year’s Christmas Lunch, the Foundation invited all the volunteers who helped make the December Christmas Bazaar a success. We also had as Guest of Honour the representatives of Bernhard Schulte SM.

As always the lunch was delicious, accompanied by a very festive and happy spirit due to our success of achieving our goal with the Fund Raising Event.

This gathering also gave the Club the opportunity to thank Berhard Schulte for the allocation of their Marine Training School premises for hosting the event while also arranging various children’s activities, food and other entertaining activities during the day.

The President made a short speech thanking the representatives of the BSM Company and presented them with a plaque of appreciation.

The meeting finally came to end around 14:30 with the President giving Mrs. Evridiki Georgiou (Agios Stefanos Foundation Manager) the proceeds of the day, a sum of €380.00. (€280.00 were the proceeds from the lunch and €100.00 were a donation from an anonymous Rotarian of which we are thankful for).

Please do not forget that our next meeting will be on the

13th January 2016 for our Vasilopitta cutting

at the 13:15, Crowne Plaza Hotel.
