DEAN ON LEAVE

Dean Michael Godfrey returns from

annual leave on Tuesday 2nd February.

We remember with thanksgiving the life of Alec Wishart

and offer our condolences, love and prayers to Kaye and

all the Wishart family.

Alec (Hogsnort Rupert) died last week and his funeral was held in

the Cathedral on Thursday.

May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

Diocese of Waikato and Taranaki have received the resignation of the Very

Rev’d Jamie Allen, Dean of Taranaki, effective mid-April.

Bishop Richard Ellena, Diocese of Nelson, has received the resignation of

the Very Rev’d Nick Kirk, Dean of Nelson, effective immediately due to

serious ill health.

Bishop Andrew Hedge, Waiapu, has received the resignation of the Rev’d

Peter Minson from his position as Vicar of Taupo Parish, to take up the role of Missioner-Priest, Whangamata Parish, in the Diocese of Waikato-Taranaki.
