August 13, 2015 Weekly Newsletter Thank you! Our fourth week of kindergarten is done! I can’t believe that it has already been almost a full month of school! Thank you for all that you do to make sure your students come to school ready to learn each day! Don’t Forget: There is no school on Monday, August 7 th in observance of Labor Day! Our Focus Next Week: Next week our topic of study is going to be “insects.” We will focus on learning about different kinds of insects. Make sure to ask your students about out new “pet” insects that we have in the classroom that we get to watch change and grow. Checking Communication folders: It is VERY IMPORTANT that you check your student’s red communication folder EVERY SINGLE night. I send home notes to you, as well as any homework that the students may need to get finished in those folders. Any student work that has been marked with a star is yours to keep at home!
