KINDERGARTEN SUMMER SCHOOL NEWS LOOK FOR A NEWSLETTER EVERY MONDAY WEEKLY NEWSLETTER #3 GO TEAM! Summer School Hours: Breakfast: 7:45-8:00 Math Summer School Program: 8:00-12:30 Math Rocks!! M ATH S UMMER S UCCESS P ROGRAM RIDGELY ELEMENTARY 217-525-3259 We have been working hard on different ways to make numbers. During writing workshop, each teacher models how to draw pictures, write numbers (addition sentences) and write/tell a story about a picture. Each day students get time to write their own stories based on the work we’ve done in the classroom. This week students will be expected to draw and write different ways to make 7, 8, and 9! We have seen amazing progress so far! :) Family day was a success. Thank you for all who attended! Check out the summer school website for pictures of the event. If you happen to drop your child off late or pick them up earlier, please make sure to check in at the office!! Miss. Hardy, Miss. Thompson, and Miss.
