IPL to have 74 matches for next three seasons
• IPL’s, next three seasons starting 2011, will have a total of 74 matches, up from 60 this year.
• 70 league matches and four play-off matches.
• Each team playing 14 matches, 7 home and 7 away.
• Two new teams Sahara Pune Warriors & Kochi are added.
• Players contracts will be for a period of 2 years plus 1 year right of extension by franchise.

Suzuki Plans Third Auto Plant in India
• Suzuki motor corp. is planning a third vehicle plant in India to meet the demand.
• Plant will start as early as 2013 at the same site i.e. in the Northern Manesar.
• Production capacity will increase up to 6,00,000 cars.
• Current production capacity is 3,60,000.
• Market share of Maruti Suzuki slid to 47.7% period of this year 53.3% the year before because of less production capacity.

Akai Forays into Mobile Handset market
• Japenese consumer electronics company Akai launching 10 models of mobile handsets in the dual-sim category.
• The mobile handset category is expected to contribute 40% to the company,s targeted turnover of Rs.435 crore from Indian operations for the year ending June,2011.
• Currently Akai is selling mobile handsets at 8000 counters in India.
• Target is selling of 2,00,000 sets by this month end by opening new service centres across the country.

Pune Blast Case Cracked,2 Let Men Arrested
• Nearly seven months after the Feb 13 Pune German Bakery blast left 57 injured & 17 dead.
• Mirza Himayat Baig(29),head of Maharashtra LeT module,was arrested from Mahatma Gandhi bus stop in Pune on Wednesday afternoon.
• His aide Shaikh Lalbaba Mohammed Hussain alias Bilal was nabbed from Subhash Chandra Bose Marg in nashik on Wednesday night.
• Pune court later remanded Baig in Police custody till September 20.
• Two Kg of RDX,soldering wires,cutters,LeT literature,manuals for making bombs,USD 1,200,Rs.10,500 cash,sim cards procured using fake documents,mobile phones & pen drives were recovered from them.
• Baig was involved in planting the bomb with Mohmmad Ahmed Zarar Siddibapa alias Yasin,a key Indian Mujahideen leader.
• Baig has accepted that he placed bomb in the bakery on February 13.
