Tuition & AM/PM Care All tuition, AM/PM Care, and other charges are due on the first of each month (August thru May). Beginning in September 2012, accounts not paid in full will be assessed a $15.00 late fee on the 16th of the month. If debts are not paid by the last day of the month, students will have to remain at home until payment is made. If your payment is past due, contact Mr. Roger DeGroot in the Develop-ment Office.

Little Company of Mary Hospital Grand Opening Little Company of Mary Hospital has requested to have Roseland Christian School Choir perform at the Grand Opening Event of their new hospital Sunday, October 14th at 1:00 p.m. We thank them for allowing us to participate in this memorable event. Parents if you would like a tour of the new hospital please contact the office at RCS Grandparents Day All Grandparents and grand friends are invited to join us on Wednesday, October 18th, to celebrate our Annual Grandparents Day! We have set aside time (8:45 am – 11:00 am) for a program, refresh-ments and visits to the classrooms. Come to enjoy the performances. We hope you are able to join us!

Real Men Read Our first Real Men Read event of the 2012-2013 school year will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 18th at 1:00 p.m. (for 1-8th grades only). As in the past, we have invited RCS fathers and local pastors to come to our school once a month to read aloud to our students in their respective classrooms. Our goal is to show students that reading is the foun-dation for achieving success in school and beyond. If you are interested in volunteering your time to support this important initiative contact the Advancement Office at 773-264-0534.

Market Day Make Market Day your own private fundraiser! Take orders from family and friends. 5% of each total sale is credited toward your tuition payment.

Order online until Saturday, 10/6/12 by 11:00 p.m. Paper orders must be received by Wednesday, 10/3/12. Pick up date is Wednesday, 10/10/12 between 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Thanks for your Market Day orders! Reading @ Roseland The CPTA has organized a Reading Incentive Program for Roseland students, Pre-K through 8. The contest is up and running so encourage your children to read and/or read to them. Then have them get a Book Report form from their teacher to fill out. We want to make sure that each student gets credit for all of the books they read this year. See the attached sheet for rules and prize informa- tion. Taffy Apple Sale Our annual Affy Tapple Sale is taking place right now. There is a great variety of apples to pur- chase. Forms were sent home. Just return your order form by Oct. 22. Pick up will be Oct. 29. CPTA Meetings CPTA meetings take place every first Tuesday of the month. Come and join Roseland parents as we work on projects and ideas that will bless and support our children. The next meeting is Novem- ber 6th at 6:00 pm.

Ultra Foods Dollars for Education 2012 – 21013

Starting September 27, 2012 thru January 27, 2013, Ultra foods will contribute 5% of your total purchases to Roseland Christian School. Ultra Foods philosophy has always been to share with others for the good of the whole community. Again this year, they have offered to partner with Roseland Christian School.

Here is how it works 1. Make your grocery list 2. Check the sales at your local Ultra Foods 3. Shop for your weekly groceries 4. Save all your Ultra Foods register receipts 5. Submit the receipts to RCS once a month

RCS will group your receipts with others and submit them to Ultra Foods before Feb. 15, 2013.
